November 3, 2026 (Tuesday):
Today, on November 3, 2026, a prayer ceremony was held at the auditorium of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force Headquarters to distribute visas, air tickets and special gifts among the officers, employees and members nominated for the Holy Umrah-2026. The ceremony was attended by the Chief Guest of this important event, Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud, Director General of the force. He handed over visas, air tickets and gifts to a total of 22 people, including 3 officers and 19 members. At this time, he wished the members of the Umrah caravan good health and a safe journey and gave instructions to perform the Holy Umrah with proper rules and discipline as well as pray for the welfare of the country and the force.
Speaking as the chief guest at the event, the Director General said that youth is the right time to perform the holy Hajj and Umrah. Religious practice and self-purification at the beginning of life enrich people morally. And the main basis of all reforms is the reform of mentality. Therefore, he urged everyone to come forward in their personal life and professional duties with a positive mindset, morality and human values.
He mentioned that Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force is a disciplined, public-oriented and public welfare-oriented organization. The learning and values acquired from the holy Umrah should be reflected in the personal life of the members as well as in the performance of their professional duties.
While giving directions related to the trip, the Director General urged the nominated members to maintain proper dignity and discipline. He instructed them to be careful with mutual cooperation, party discipline, personal safety and elderly and sick fellow travelers during the trip. He also advised them to follow the instructions related to the trip and complete the trip carefully. He called for prayers for the peace, prosperity and welfare of the country, nation and Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force in the holy land.
This special initiative of the force towards the members nominated for performing the holy Umrah-2026 bears recognition of their professional dedication and sincerity. The sincere wishes and guidance of the Director General will further strengthen their morale. It is hoped that through performing Umrah, the members will gain self-purification and new inspiration and will perform their duties with more dedication and sincerity in the workplace in the future.
