Two thieves arrested by Ansar members at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College in Gazipu

Ansar members on duty have arrested two people red-handed during a theft at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College in Gazipur. Today, September 9, 2026, at approximately 2:30 pm, while on duty in the hospital area, affiliated Ansar member Md. Tanvir Hossain and affiliated Ansar (female) Mosammat Kohinur Begum noticed suspicious movements and arrested the two people. The arrested persons are - Md. Shakib (26), father-Md. Akbar Ali, mother-Moshammat Saleha Begum, Sang-Shahbazpur, Dakghar-Shahbazpur, District-Jamalpur and Md. Firoz Mia (15), father-Md. Shafiqul, mother-Moshammat Monowara Begum, Sang-Taluk Jamia, Thana-Sadar, District-Gaibandha. Later, the two arrested persons were handed over to the college authorities. After completing the necessary procedures, the college authorities handed them over to the police at approximately 2:45 pm on the same day. As a result of immediate action and vigilance, it has been possible to prevent thefts in the hospital area and bring the accused to justice quickly. Such a responsible and courageous role will play a positive role in strengthening the security system of the hospital as well as increasing the sense of security among the public.
