Secret meeting: Chhatra League leader arrested by joint forces in Magura
Banned Chhatra League leader Md. Raihan Islam Sagar was arrested by joint forces while holding a secret meeting in Magura.
He was arrested on Monday (September 28) night. Later, the joint forces handed him over to the Sadar Police Station.
He is the former Chhatra League president of Binodpur Degree College branch.
Magura Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdullah Al Mamun confirmed the news of Raihan Islam Sagar's arrest.
It is learned that Sagar had been absconding since August 5, 2014. He had recently come to the area and was trying to organize Awami League leaders and activists.
Police said that there are multiple cases against him. However, the police did not say in which case he will be arrested.
